Savon du Midi soaps are made in Provence, France. Soap making from vegetable oils has a long tradition around the Mediterranean. Her focal points in southern France are Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from controlled organic cultivation (kbA) are used in the saponification process for the production of the soap. After saponification, shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, perfume or essential oil are added in the final processing. Savon du Midi soaps are made with the ancestral know-how in the tradition of Provencal soap making. This predominantly manual production method is reflected in the quality of a mild and caring soap. Animal fats are not processed in any of the soaps.
